Friday 5

Happy Friday ya'll and happy Easter weekend! I hope the temps are warming up wherever you are and that you get some family time and relaxing in this weekend! I'm headed off to our bay house for a little babymoon of my own (hubby has to work unfortunately) and I'm looking forward to just being by the water. Linking up today with the usual gang: Christina, April, Darci, Natasha , Amanda over at Meet @ the Barre and Karli with September Farm. for Friday 5 and Friday Favorites

THIS - ALL of this

Will be packing this weekend for sure! Any recommendations or is this list pretty accurate?
I want to congratulate one of my blogging besties on their new arrival of their little girl! I want to share their adorable name and picture so badly because she is absolutely gorgeous ya'll! So head over to Just the Joys and congratulate Julie!

Happening lately- snuggles with Emma before she's not the baby anymore (haha) Hubs still being an assembler, new tea towels from Kroger for $2.99 - YES $2.99 and I finished all of baby girl's laundry! The scent of dreft is absolutely incredible!

  5. Your weekend sounds so relaxing & perfect!! The list is great - did you get a boppy?!! I used that thing ALL of the time, especially when breastfeeding. I took mine to the hospital and definitely will again! Happy Easter, mama!

  6. Packing the hospital bag is so exciting! It really makes it feel real, doesn't it? No need for any of the diaper bag stuff for the hospital. They'll have all that there for you. Unless you have different diapers or swaddles you want to use.

  8. I never really packed a bag beforehand. I knew that I would want all my favorite things that I use on a daily basis. Instead I made a short list and put it together when I needed. It's a fun part of nesting though. Hope you have a wonderful Easter!

  9. Thanks so much for the shoutout girl! :) I need to get onto the computer and post something! :) I totally wouldn't have cared if you posted her pic or name. Lol.

Bahahah! That video! The struggle is real!

My personal opinion about hospital necessities... Boppy pillow for sure. Don't over do it with baby clothes because they are pretty much swaddled the entire time. A couple burp rags were handy and I had a Velcro Swaddler that Remington loved way more than receiving blankets. Other than that I had a hat, headbands, a couple onesies, a pacifier, for her and that was it. They provide diapers and wipes and they're so little you don't need butt paste or anything yet.

For you, a robe! A light weight robe. Screw the clothing, pjs, or any of that jazz. I stayed in a sports bra (loose fit) and the robe the entire time. I didn't wear my nursing tank because of my staples on my belly. To go home you definitely want loose and comfortable! Hair ties and hair clip. Your own blanket is nice to have. Their blankets aren't so soft and comfy. Bring one for the hubs too.

And of course camera and snacks! :)

  10. I haven't packed my bags yet. I've talked about it, and even shared my own hospital bag checklist on my blog. But for some reason, I just can't get to the whole actual packing thing. I think I know that it will make it real, and I don't know if I'm there yet - although I am definitely getting to the point where I am over being pregnant, lol! I need to just do it though. Eeeek!
