Wino Wednesday

It's that time again! Another Wino Wednesday post and a much needed one I might add (is it acceptable to be trying some now...like at 8:00am? juuuust kidding) Today I want to feature a Chardonnay I had recently on our date night. I'm not a huge white wine fan but when it comes to seafood and screaming hot temps outside it is nice to always keep one chilled and on hand! No matter white or red, I love a good dry wine and this Chardonnay was perfectly dry and crisp! Be sure to link up and share your current favorite and also check out my co-hosts posts over at Kids and Cabernet and Pink and Fabulous

Tasting notes:

"This vivid Chardonnay offers aromas of pears and white
peaches, with a hint of acacia. It was vinified and matured
entirely in stainless-steel tanks, with no aging in oak barrels, to highlight its freshness and crisp, mouthwatering acidity."

Serve With:
Enjoy this versatile, food-friendly wine on its own, or with a
wide range of dishes including green salads, lox, sushi,
pad thai, pork tenderloin, and more.

  3. I totally agree about whites! We ordered a glass not too long ago while eating outside at our favorite restaurant and it was so refreshing and paired so nicely. I'll be sure to try this one too.

  4. Yumm! I love a good white wine. I can't drink red in the summer, it's too hot!

  7. I feel the same way about white wine, only with seafood & hot weather! My only exception is a glass of Riesling with very spicy Thai food; they are a perfect match!

  10. Ok, so on a scale of 1-10, what's the sweetness level? 10 is Moscato-level BTW ha.

  11. I'm trying more Chards lately, I usually like sweeter wines so I've had troubles finding one I truly love. I do like Chardonnay over reds though :)

  13. Thanks for the rec! I don't normally love Chardonnay's but I've actually found some lately that I'm okay with. I'll have to try this one if I see it. I like dry as well! And yes, whites in the summer because they're so light. This is a fun link-up!

  14. What a fun link-up!! Anything wine-related is right up my alley.... :) I will have to try to find this chardonnay - I prefer steel-aged, with fruity flavors, so this sounds just right!
